What People's Say About Place

Watched football on a Saturday at Slim Goody and the service was awesome. Madon was always quick to Che k on us and bring us fresh drinks. He was kind and fun to talk to. The food was fresh, quick and hot always. We had cheese curds, pretzel, burgers and drinks. Julio cooked them well! We can’t wait to come back.

My new favorite spot in Ballard. Seen a lot of places come and go in this spot but they have really made it great. Best burger in Ballard and a great beer selection. Really fun crew and atmosphere. If you haven’t been, come check it out!

Our time at Slim Goodies was an absolute blast! We hosted a combined birthday celebration and Seahawks watch party, and the staff couldn’t have been more attentive or welcoming. They took great care of us from start to finish, making the whole experience feel special. The TVs and sound system were top-notch, which made watching the game even more exciting. Overall, an incredible place with incredible people, we can’t wait to come back! If you want to have a good time, come here!

Went to Slim Goody to watch Seahawks game. We got great seating at the bar. The seatings were so cute with colors of greens blues. Honestly super surprised by the food quality. The fried cheese was amazing, it was like mozzarella sticks. Soft but crispy outside! The screen was pretty big to watch game and sound was great. Drinks and food were awesome as well.

I just moved to Seattle a few months back and it was surprisingly hard to find a sports bar. Luckily I found Slim Goody! This place is amazing for Sundays and any sporting event. The staff is super friendly and remembers you, shoutout Jules, and they do a great job of accommodating fans of all teams on the TVs. One of my top spots in Ballard no question. If you are a sports fan you will love it.

Slim Goody is a sports bar in the Old Ballard area with a bunch of TVs and inviting atmosphere. Parking here is always a pain so be prepared to park a few blocks away and walk. They have about a half a dozen tables in an outside area with a TV, a bar area with almost a dozen tables with at least 5 TVs and then a front area with booths to sit at with a few TVs as well, with sports always on. The menu here isn't that big, and prices are a bit high for the portions you get. Their food isn't that great, onion rings were just mushy batter with almost no crunch or onion, wings are tiny and have a lemon taste in the Buffalo sauce, and their ranch also has a lemon taste to it. I think they're overcomplicating things thinking people will want fancier food but for a sports bar, they need to step back and get to the basics. The staff is awesome here, and they're always walking around getting you things and joking around. It's pretty clean in here which is nice and they will always be willing to change a TV to a game you want to watch. If they fix the food, they will easily get 5 stars. I'd still go here for a beer or two with friends though, it's a great place to go.

Spent a college football Saturday here, and was impressed. Seattle sometimes feels like it’s lacking true sports bars, and Slim Goody didn’t disappoint. Good food, the right beers, and good atmosphere. Had multiple games on TV, and staff were flexible to switch TVs to a requested game. Great place to watch a game, grab a burger, and make new friends.

The owner was awesome. Jake, it’s worth at least 4.6. But seriously, the staff is awesome. There are an ample number of TVs for all of the sport ball. They do a great job of keeping patios just as warm as the interior, which is a HUGE plus. Honestly. Good people. Good beer. Good space.
